WHY HORSES
Horses respond to our behavioral patterns, providing us with honest and clear feedback about our current strengths and areas for improvement. They reflect back to us the alignment or misalignment between what we are saying and what we are actually doing. Interactions with horses provides learning opportunities with immediate direct feedback relevant to the skills critical to successful leadership, as well as everyday interactions. Horses lead us into new, unfamiliar territory, insights and reveal to us new ways of interacting with others and ourselves.
EQUINE GUIDES
Sander Van Ravensbos is a 12-Year old Friesian Gelding. Sander guides individuals and teams into relationship with their authentic power, effective leadership styles and illuminates areas of mis-communication. As a Friesian, he understands the need for clear communication, team-work, and emotional agility. The Friesian Horse comes from the Netherlands and was bred specifically as a war horse; strong enough to carry riders in armor but agile enough to fight in battle.
Brego is a seven year old Thoroughbred and former race horse. He comes from champion bloodlines and is the grandson of Triple Crown Winner Seattle Slew. Brego teaches us the gift of patience, perseverance and the ability to be flexible. Brego was rescued and rehabilitated in May of 2007 and has clearly demonstrated a love for teaching humans how to find inspiration and alignment with purpose.

"About the head of a truly great horse there is an air of freedom unconquerable. The eyes seem to look on heights beyond our gaze. It is the look of a spirit that can soar. It is the birthright of eagles."
- John Taintor Foote "The Look of Eagles".
